Russia - Sunday September 7th to Friday September 12th
Sunday September 7th
A travel day. A reasonably easy day with a 11:40 flight to Moscow. A 2 1/2 hour flight plus a couple of hours time difference got us in late afternoon so we had a leisurely beer'o'clock, something to eat and and an early night.
Monday September 8th
After breakfast our tour guide picked up for our City tour and visit to Kremlin, Red Square and Kremlin Cathedrals.

Tuesday September 9th
After a big walking day on Monday we had a late start and walked back into town for a look at the big GUM department store, another look at Red Square and then a tour of the famous underground metro stations. Later that evening we were picked up by the tour company and taken to the railway station for our overnight train to St Petersburg.
